Princeton CarbonWorks GRIT 4540 is an all-road carbon wheel set that was built from the bottom up to exceed your expectations.

Lightweight? Got it. incredible stiffness? Check. versatile, nimble, quick, and stable? Always.
Ideal for varied terrain, gravel, and cyclocross, as well as general purpose roads.

What is the process? We debuted the GRIT with our variable depth cross section for unparalleled cross wind stability, building on our knowledge from the Wake 6560. We also slightly varied the breadth of the profile, and we focused on high-stress locations when we improved the carbon layup. The nipple bed has undergone a comprehensive re-engineering process to increase the carbon thickness there while eliminating material from other areas.

Next-level material? Try a flat, uniform tire bed. The wheel gets tremendously stiff by removing the holes from the tire bed (holes+carbon are not best buddies). As a result, we were able to increase hoop rigidity while also making the tire bed smaller and lighter.
